Teenagers are being encouraged to show their creative writing talents in a competition across Lincolnshire.

The competition, created by Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS), is looking for young people of 14 years and over, to submit a blog-style piece of writing on a topic that is important to them. The winning blog will be the first piece of writing featured on the soon-to-be launched Lincolnshire Healthy Teens website later this year, and will also receive a £50 Odeon cinema voucher.

The winner will start the ‘it’s all about the blog’ section on the website which hopes to include writing from both young people and health professionals.

School nurses will be promoting the competition through schools, and all submissions must be emailed to by Friday, November 6.
