The sound of the two giants of the 90s Britpop era, Blur and Oasis, is coming to the Engine Shed next month as leading tribute acts Blurd and Oas-is hit the venue for a night of pure live music and rivalry.
Twenty years after they first burst on to the scene and declared their mutual loathing of each other, the real Blur and Oasis have put their rivalry behind them and are now even discussing collaborations.
However, the battle rages on for the tribute acts and both Blurd and Oas-is are about to take up the battle once more, go toe to toe, face to face.
They will be taking the fight out of the ring, into the trenches and straight to Lincoln.
Blurd play everything you would want to hear and more from Country House to Beetlebum to Parklife and Tender. The same instruments, clothes, quality and stage presence as the original make Blurd one of the leading tributes in the country.
Oas-is are five Oasis fanatics who live and breathe the band and play hits from all seven Oasis albums from Definitely Maybe to Dig Out Your Soul and all the attitude you would expect from the real thing.
The gig is on January 29 with doors open from 7pm.
Tickets are £8 and available now on 0844 8888766 or online at www.engineshed.co.uk
