Thirty-five members of the Wesley Village Guild enjoyed a special lunch at their January meeting. Members were served with steak pie, potatoes and vegetables, followed by fruit crumble or cheesecake and cream. The meal was rounded off with coffee and mints. All the food, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, was prepared and served by the ladies of Zena’s Top Nosh. Many thanks go to Zena and the members of Lea Methodist Church who prepared the room, and to anyone who helped in any way.
The next guild meeting is on Thursday 20th February at 2.15pm when Steve Underwood will tell members about the work of the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance.
There is a service every Sunday at 10.30am when everyone is welcome.
