The Crown Inn at Belton is hosting a special charity general knowledge quiz on Wednesday, February 18 at 7:30pm. Maximum four persons per team, entry £5 and all proceeds go to Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
The Festival of the Plough committee has a last few tickets remaining for the Valentines 1950s night at Haxey Hall on Saturday. This is the place to be on Valentine’s night if you want to have some fun. Hog roast included in the ticket price of £8 each (adults only). Cool music, relaxed diner style atmosphere, candy floss machine and a cheap bar. All proceeds from the evening will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Meanwhile, over in Owston Ferry, the Christmas Lights Committee invites you to their Coffee Morning on Thursday, February 19, from 10am Coronation Hall. Variety of stalls. Entrance fee £2.
