A Harworth man has been given a curfew after Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard he could no longer comply with his unpaid work community order.

Andrew Mead, 43, of Arundel Walk, breached his community order after he twice failed to attend pre-arranged pick-up points for him to carry out unpaid work.

In court, he told magistrates that his job occupied him six days a week and on the seventh day was the only chance he had to see his children.

Magistrates’ revoked the unpaid work order and handed him a four-month curfew to remain at his home address between 10pm and 6am, Monday to Friday each week.
