Three people have been arrested over the murder of Ivans Zdanovics whose body was found in a Gainsborough house last month.

Two local men, aged 29 and 25, and a 28-year-old local woman are being interviewed in police custody.

Mr Zdanovics, 24, was found dead at an address in Etherington Street on 17th January. He was originally from Latvia.

Last week Lincolnshire Police flew his sister, Oksana Zdanovica- Rjabisenkova, over from Latvia to help with their enquiries.

She has urged anyone who thinks they can help the murder inquiry, to do call the police immediately.

“Whoever has done this has taken our loved one away from us. This has had a devastating and shocking effect on us,” she said.

“This could potentially happen to any family and I would ask people to think about that. These people do not deserve loyalty or protection.”

“If you know who they are, or you have any information that you think could help the police, then please tell the police immediately.”

Police are continuing their enquiries and investigations at various locations on the Gainsborough area.

If you have any information that could help the police call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
