Three men have been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary in Gainsborough.

The incident happened at a property on Linden Terrace, Gainsborough, on Monday 26th May.

Lincolnshire Police received the report at 1.07pm.

The caller reported that a group of men had forced entry to the house.

The victim, a 42-year-old man, was not seriously injured in the incident and it is believed that he and the offenders were known to each other prior to the incident.

Three local men, two aged 25 and one aged 23, were all arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and have since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
