If your New Year’s resolution is to quit smoking then help is at hand throughout January from Lincolnshire Co-op pharmacists.

Pharmacies across the county, including Gainsborough, have specially trained advisors who work as part of the Phoenix Smoking Cessation Service.

Anyone who wants to stop smoking can just walk in and make an appointment to see them.

The Society’s Phoenix Advisors are fully trained in providing personalised support and motivational counselling.

They can offer people information and advice on a number of nicotine replacement therapies including mouth sprays, patches, mints, nasal spray, micro tabs, chewing gum, inhalators and medicines such as Champix.

A list of Lincolnshire Co-op pharmacies offering stop smoking services can be found at and people can also visit to find their nearest NHS Stop Smoking Service.
