The following people have appeared before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court and had their cases dealt with recently:

Sion Scourfield, aged 45, of Brookes Close, Kirton-in-Lindsey. Drink-driving. Banned for 17 months, fined £450, victim surcharge of £45 and costs of £85;

James Gadd, 33, of Thurlby Road, Gainsborough. Driving under the influence of cannabis. Banned from driving for 16 months, fined £110, told to pay a victim surcharge of £40 and costs of £30;

Mathew Barton, 32, of Southland Drive, Lincoln. Drink-driving. Banned for 12 months. Fined £380, victim surcharge of £38 and costs of £85;

Celal Erkan, 49, of Hermit Street, Lincoln. Drink-driving. Banned for 17 months. Fined £440, Victim surcharge of £44 and costs of £85.


Daniel Perry, 33, of Clinton Terrace, Gainsborough. Assaulted a woman. Threatening behaviour, destroyed a phone, breached an existing order. Community order made;


David Glover, 31, of Gainsborough Road, Willingham by Stow. Drunk and disorderly behaviour. Six-month conditional discharge, victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £40.


Lindsey Parry, 40, of Linden Terrace, Gainsborough. Stole chocolates to the value of £44.91 from B&M Bargains. Fined £40, surcharge of £30 and costs of £30;

Stephen Boucher, 62, of Saxilby Road, Sturton by Stow. Stole a quantity of plants to a value of £22.35 belonging to Countdown Discount Stores. Fined £80, compensation of £22.35, victim surcharge of £30 and costs of £85.


Reece Webb, 21, of Holme Walk, Gainsborough. Breached a restraining order, damaged a police cell to a value unknown, damaged a television, coffee table and door to the value of £600. Committed to 18 weeks in a young offenders’ institution.
