The popular Gainsborough hair salon Stringers has this week unveiled the company’s brand new salon in a new location at Marshall’s Yard.

Stringers, which also has a sister salon in Lincoln, has been based at Marshall’s Yard since the centre opened in 2007.

The company now has a brand new and modern look in a new location at the Yard on the second floor at Britannia House, giving the busy salon the opportunity to expand.

The former office space above the previous salon has undergone a major transformation to create the new hair and beauty salon where the Stringers team of eight stylists are still providing cuts, trims and colours as well as selling a great range of hair care products.

And to celebrate the launch of the new salon the company has also unveiled a fresh new logo and look along with plans for a bigger range of beauty treatments.

Salon owner Steve Stringer, who launched the business 17 years ago, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to expand and really has given us the potential for more space for products and to have two more chairs for our stylists and well as offering more treatments.”

“The salon looks fantastic and we hope all our clients will be as pleased as we are with the new look Stringers.”

The move has also created an opportunity for a new restaurant or retail business to open up at the Yard in the former salon unit next to Stanley Hunt Jewellers.

Centre manager at Marshall’s Yard Alison Hall, said: “The new Stringers salon looks fantastic, the company has been part of the Yard since it opened in 2007 so we’re delighted to see the team expanding and investing here in Gainsborough. We’d like to wish Steve and the team all the very best in their new location.”

The work has been completed by local contractors, Vary Space.
