Gainsborough has been given a significant investment boost with the transformation of the McDonald’s restaurant.
Situated on Trinity Street, the restaurant reopened its doors on Thursday 11th June and will hold an official reopening celebration on Saturday 20th June.
The restaurant, which first opened in 2012, has been given a high-tech makeover to feature new self-service kiosks, digital menu boards and tablet computers. The redesign also includes McDonald’s signature style with a bright, modern interior and exterior design, comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi.
Bosses say the revamp demonstrates McDonald’s ongoing commitment to investment across the UK and is part of an extensive ongoing refurbishment programme. Many of the new features from the restaurant will begin to appear in other McDonald’s restaurants across the country in coming months.
Local franchisee Bob Meadowcroft, who owns restaurants in Gainsborough, Worksop, and two in Scunthorpe, said: “Staying ahead of customer expectations is vital and the new technology we’ve introduced in this restaurant recognises the way people live their lives today.”
“We are looking forward to welcoming customers back and will be holding an official opening on 20th June to celebrate.”
