Kindhearted residents across the Gainsborough area have dug deep and helped to raise vital funds for Children In Need.
Schools, workplaces and community groups all clubbed together to boost the annual appeal to help change the lives of children across the UK.
Children at White’s Wood Academy in Gainsborough enjoyed a whole day of activities including a bear hunt, spotty cake sale and bear themed lessons.
While the children and staff of Speckled Frogs Pre-school in Beckingham raised money for Pudsey by dressing in pyjamas and onesies and baking cakes for a teddy bears picnic.
And students at Trent Valley Academy raised around £350 during a day of activities.
Over at Queen Elizabeth’s High School the lunch time cookery club and food technology department made cupcakes that they then sold to staff and students.
They all helped to make this year’s Children In Need appeal the best ever, with over £31 million being raised across the country.
Children In Need supports over 2,600 projects right across the country.
Every penny from the money raised or donated goes towards helping disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
