Firefighters from Gainsborough were called to deal with a grass fire on Harpswell Close.

The incident occurred at 8.30pm on Friday night (21st March) and involved four square metres of grass alight.

Firefighters used water backpacks to extinguish the fire.

Earlier in the day, Gainsborough crews were also called to a chimney fire on Gravel Pit Road in the town.

The fire was caused by a build-up of soot in the chimney.

Fire crews again used water back packs to put out the flames.
