There was plenty of seasonal activity going on at one Isle primary school in the days leading up to the Easter holidays.

Reception class children at Westwoodside C of E Primary School got involved in arts, model-making, and crafts, games and displays.

The pupils made their own ramps down which they could roll plastic eggs, and painted decorative eggs for their school Easter egg competition.

Cards that they made using bright rainbow colours could be recycled as window decorations after Easter, explained assistant head Helen Spowage.

There was a visit from the Rev. Jeremy Green of St Nicholas’ Church, Haxey, who told the Easter story, then admired the various displays of work .

Here are some photographs of pupils enjoying taking part in fun activities and showing off some of their finished products.
