Millions of viewers tuned in to watch a pair of Worksop lovebirds get hitched in a ‘rave-themed’ wedding on Don’t Tell the Bride which aired on BBC3 yesterday (Wednesday 5th August).

Luke and ‘born and bred Worksop lass’ Ellis tied the knot on national TV as part of the BBC programme, which saw the couple awarded a 12,000 budget for their wedding.

DJ Luke, who planned the entire event on his own in just three weeks, chose the O2 Academy in Sheffield for the wedding venue, adorning the building with glow sticks and balloons.

The bride travelled to the wedding venue in a vintage open-top fire engine, wore neon pink ‘rave trainers’ beneath her traditional white dress and had her blonde hair spray painted neon pink to match.

“It was the party to end all parties,” said Ellis.
