A FIRE was deliberately started in the kitchen of a house in Gainsborough, the fire service has said.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in Clinton Terrace at around 1.25am on Thursday 7th April.
Three appliances - two from Gainsborough and one from Misterton attended the scene.
A spokesman for the Lincs Fire and Rescue Service said: “There was severe damage by fire of 90 per cent of the kitchen and severe damage by smoke to the remainder of the two storey end of terrace house.”
They added: “The cause is deliberate.”
