Gainsborough man found guilty of attempted murder

A GAINSBOROUGH man accused of the attempted murder of his ex-girlfriend was found guilty in court today (Tuesday 16th October).

Paul Owen Henry, 46, from Lea Place, was charged with the attempted murder of Claire Louise Boswell, 44, after he was accused of attacking her with a knife at her home address on Glentham Road on the afternoon of Thursday 15th September 2011.

Following the incident, she was taken to hospital and treated for serious stab wounds - including ‘potentially life-threatening’ liver injuries.

A jury found Henry guilty of attempted murder at Lincoln Crown Court.
