Corringham: Man was cut from his car after crash

A man was taken to hospital with a head injury after a two car crash in Corringham on Sunday night.

The two vehicles were in collision at Harpswell Lane in the village at around 7.30pm.

Firefighters from Gainsborough and Kirton Lindsey fire stations helped to free the man, who was treated for a head injury at Lincoln County Hospital.

The road was blocked for several hours while the emergency services dealt with the incident.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash to call them on 101 quoting incident number 387 of 25th August.
