an inspection of children’s services at Lincolnshire County Council has found the department is strong and effective in safeguarding children.
The Ofsted inspection sampled the quality and effectiveness of contact, referral and assessment and their impact on minimising child abuse and neglect.
Peter Duxbury, director of children’s services, said: “It is good to see that our staff are successfully supporting hundreds of families and protecting children every hour of every day.”
Coun Patricia Bradwell, portfolio member for children’s services, said: “This is an excellent endorsement of our safeguarding procedures. The safety of young people in the county is essential.”
