CHILDREN at Benjamin Adlard Community School in Gainsborough felt the long, furry paw of the the law this week when they received a visit from Bobby Bear.
Bobby is Lincolnshire Police’s mascot, and is always on hand to help kids stay safe.
“It’s part of an initiative between the police force and schools to help improve child safety,” said Debbie McKay from the school. “It really bridges links between the police and the community and it ties in really well with the PSHE curriculum in primary schools.”
“Having Bobby Bear visit the school is a great starting point for the little ones. Bobby came by to visit the foundation school children and introduce himself.”
“What happens next is a framework with a lot of activities and lessons based around him to help the children work.”
