The Music Industry Bassetlaw project will be holding the third of its FREE music business development seminars in Worksop on Saturday 19th July, which will focus on how musicians and artists can sell their music over the internet.
Following the success of the last session, which featured former Oasis mentor and founder of Creation Records Alan McGee, the MIB project has again lined up a music industry expert to pass on invaluable knowledge to local musicians.
July’s event will be presented by online marketing expert David Kerindi, who has spent the last 20 years designing and developing specific internet marketing platforms and strategies across a range of diverse sectors.
Maurice Mulligan, Music Project Officer, said: “The seminar will show our participants how to develop and design their own online marketing platforms and by the end of the session will have set-up and launched their own profiles with recordings ready for sale on the internet.”
Participants are encouraged to bring along their regular means of online communication including smartphones, tablets and laptops, although there will be PCs in the training rooms for use.
They are also asked to bring a selection of original media; including music and images as well as any related artwork, logos, clips or MP4 files.
This free session will take place in the Fluid Power Centre Building at North Nottinghamshire College, Turner Road, Worksop and should you wish to take part please book your place in advance by contacting Maurice Mulligan on 01909 533470 or email@example.com.
