White Rose Angling Club recently raised money for Doncaster Royal Infirmary following the death of member Sid Hunt’s wife, who was treated at the hospital.

The anglers took part in a series of four fishing matches and raised £160 for respiratory equipment. Pictured handing over the proceeds are Sid Hunt (centre) of Kirk Sandall along with White Rose AC members, respiratory nurse specialist Kathryn Mangham, ward manager sister Nicola Severein-Kirk and head of nursing for emergency care Kate Carville.

A special thanks to the nursing staff who all gave up part of their day off to attend the presentation.
