AT Rotherham on Friday William Henry Jaques, of Gainsborough, was charged with bigamy by having, on 26th August 1905, at Middlesbrough, fraudulently married his wife, Lily Fairbanks, to whom he was married on 11th October 1890, being then alive.

Lily Henry, Gainsborough, spoke to being present at the wedding the prisoner with Fairbanks at the Gainsborough Register Office on 11th October 1890. She signed the register as a witness.

Prisoner was committed for trial at the Assizes.
