Father Christmas will be taking up residence within the historic walls of Lincoln Castle on several days before Christmas. Children and their accompanying adults will have the chance of an audience with the man himself in the castle’s Bath House, where up to 15 children will be able to meet him as he tells tales of Christmases past in Victorian times and a festive story or two.
Jon Hogan, Marketing and Events Manager, said: “The Bath House makes an ideal setting for Father Christmas’s grotto, this won’t just be your usual two minutes on Father Christmas’s knee.
Each session will last at least approximately 20 minutes, and all children will get to take away a Victorian-style gift. “There’s a maximum of one adult per child and a maxi-mum of 15 children per session.” Father Christmas will be appearing on 20th–23rd December. Sessions start at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm. Places cost £6 per child, including free entry for the accompanying adult.
Advance booking is essential.
