Sunday, January 17, two organists playing at the same time - Tony Stace and Andrew Nix. Regulars on the organ circuit and on occasions, they appear together, each having his own solo spot before playing as a duet. They also have their own personalities and always introduce humour to their show, which makes it a first class variety show. Anyone presuming that organs are just for playing hymns, should come and see just what modern technology has done for the music scene, and whilst Andrew has the very latest state of the art Roland instrument, Tony sticks to the more traditional sounds on his 30 year old instrument which is still capable of making a wonderful sound. Both have played for the society in the past, both as solo stars and as a duet, always to a full house.
Usual venue, the Weston Rooms, Hickman Street, Gainsborough. DN21 2DZ. Usual start time, 2.30pm. Admission by ticket obtained from Peter Naulls, priced £6
