Following a hugely successful sell out tour this summer, Britain’s top satirical impressionist Rory Bremner, takes to the road again this autumn.
He will be bringing his unique brand of comedy and impressions to the Lincoln Theatre Royal on 17th November.
The show features a mix of some of his firm favourites, along with his own take on events dominating the news.
Rory recently took part in the popular BBC TV series Strictly Come Dancing and his brand new political satire series for BBC Radio 4, Tonight launches this autumn.
His repertoire of dozens of characters has sustained a highly successful career in radio and TV spanning 25 years.
The 10 date national live tour is an opportunity for Rory to combine the voices and satire which have made him a household name with topical stand-up about the coalition government, current affairs and sport.
Two of Rory’s oldest friends, comedienne Hattie Hayridge and jazz star Ian Shaw will be sharing the stage with Rory this autumn.
Hattie is one of Britain’s best female stand-ups and a legend on the comedy circuit for nearly 20 years.
Ian Shaw is one of the country’s top jazz singers, combining his brilliant musical talent with unique humour and energy.
Rory and Ian first met and performed together as students at Kings College London.
Rory has embraced his return to live shows and relishes being back on the live stage again.
He said: “It’s been great to get back on the road this summer and a real pleasure to work with Ian and Hattie on a variety bill featuring a combination of satire, stand-up and musical virtuosity.”
“I’m looking forward to the autumn dates so we can bring the show to some of the places we’ve missed out along the way.”
Rory Bremner and Friends is on the Lincoln Theatre Royal on Thursday 17th November at 7.30pm.
