BIG laughs are heading to Kirton in Lindsey as one of the town’s favourite pubs will be hosting a series of comedy nights this year.
Kicking off on Sunday 3rd February, The George will be hosting the Funhouse Comedy Club - headlined by the critically-acclaimed Mandy Knight.
Mandy was trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, and although she’s a fully trained classical actress, she decided to initially work in stand up comedy.
As a stand up, she has headlined all over the world as well as appearing on numerous television and radio entertainment shows including: Live at Jongleurs, The Comedy Store and The Little Big Woman Radio Show.
Mandy is the current Time Out Best Female Comic and was the very first female comic to compere for The Jongleurs Comedy chain.
Also on the bill are Barry Dodds, Sean Turner and compere Spiky Mike.
The Funhouse Comedy Club will be The George, Kirton in Lindsey, on Sunday 3rd February at 8pm. Tickets are £8. Food is available before the show but must be pre-booked. For info and tickets visit www.funhousecomedy.co.uk or call 01652 640 600.
