Everyone’s favourite mischief-making feline comes to Sheffield next week when Dr Seuss’s The Cat in the Hat bounds into the Lyceum Theatre.
From the moment his tall, red-and-white-striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that the cat in the hat is the funniest, naughtiest cat they have ever met.
With the trickiest of tricks and craziest of ideas, he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure.
But what will mum find when she gets home?
Based on the much-loved book by Dr Seuss and originally produced by the National Theatre, The Cat in the Hat is a lively and engaging first theatre experience for young children aged three and over and their families.
The Cat in the Hat is at the Lyceum from next Tuesday to Thursday, September 1-3 at 1pm on Tuesday and 11am and 1pm Wednesday and Thursday.
Tickets priced £11.50 (concessions available) are on 0114 2496000 or www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk
