Sheffield: Former Dire Straits frontman Mark Knopfler is first to play Arena’s new Steel Hall this weekend

Mark Knopfler will play the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on Sunday night (17th May) giving fans the opportunity to hear live tracks from his latest album, Tracker.

Knopfler, who last performed at the Arena as part of Dire Straits back in 1991 is the first artist booked to play the Motorpoint Arena’s new reduced capacity 4,000 seated venue, The Steel Hall.

Tickets purchased online at www.motorpointarenasheffield.co.uk and through the ticket hotline on 0114 2565656 are priced £55 and £49.50 (including booking fee).

Tickets purchased in person at the Arena Box Office are £52.50 and £47.25 (including booking fee).
