Forget princesses, pumpkins, dames and beanstalks, it’s pirates for Christmas with The Lincoln Company this year.
Instead of something like Cinderella or Snow White, the group setting sail for a classic tale of piracy in Treasure Island.
One snowy winter’s night a young girl searches through her uncle’s attic and finds a treasure chest.
With a secret treasure map in her pocket and the ghost of Captain Flint never far behind, young Jem Hawkins is drawn into a world of swashbuckling excitement, buccaneers and buried gold.
The show will be performed at Lincoln Performing Arts Centre and it will be a performance ‘in-the-round’ creating a world, where the children really feel like they’ve stepped onto the island.
The show is running from Saturday, December 12 until Christmas Eve.
