The Workhouse Players present their successful production of Take 7 at The Old Nick Theatre in Gainsborough this week.
The production is packed with the sort of everyday characters seen in supermarkets, cafes and parks, we might wonder about and imagine their lives.
Take 7 is people watching brought to life with stories that can be funny and sad.
These original short plays are by local writer Gill Blow, and performed by Phil Jones, Sue Hill, and Laura Martin.
They will tell you about Beryl stuck in a pink dress in Monsoon’s and Clive, an Elvis impersonator, who gets into hot water with his drainpipes.
Then there’s the Scarlet Pimpernel and a couple who meet on a hill.
The production is at the Old Nick on Thursday, April 28 and Friday, April 29 at 7.30pm on both nights.
Tickets are £8 and £6 on 01427 239387.
