New and original drama comes to Lincoln Performing Arts Centre this weekend.

Through Emerald Embers was written by Michael Walker, a third year English student at Lincoln University, and is presented by the university’s drama society.

Austin ‘Ozzie’ Lancaster is aching to be freed from his nemesis which is his father and finally abandons him, binding himself to a new life in London.

But does success manifest itself purely in the heart of those who obtain it?

The performance is on Saturday, February 20 at 7.30pm and tickets are £10 (£8 concessions, £5 NUS and under-25) on 01522 837600 or www,lpac.co.uk
