Organisers of this summer’s Walesby Forest Festival in Sherwood Forest are offering performance artists in Notts a free entry and performance pass.
The organisers are inviting fringe artists and community groups, including musicians, dance groups, choirs, craftsmen, and street entertainers to perform and contribute in the festival’s fringe event to get in touch.
“We’re keen to invite fringe artists and community groups along to the event to showcase their skills to a large, welcoming and captive audience,” said Damien Barber, the festival’s creative director.
“As well as free entry, groups and solo artists will be able to contribute to the fringe event, plus the opportunity to run their own informal workshop sessions to festival guests.”
The festival takes place from 28th to 31st August.
