QUEEN, Coldplay and Kings Of Lyon will be having tributes paid to their legend at Gainsborough’s Fake Festival this summer - and the Standard are giving tickets away every week in the run up to the event.
This July, Roses Playing Field will be the perfect destination for your festival fix.
Featuring celebrated tribute acts Coldplace, King of Lyon and Queen B as well as a handful of cracking local talent, this festival makes a guarantee like no other – the British weather can’t ruin it!
“The idea of Fake Festivals was always to bring that authentic festival feeling to your home town instead of having to travel hundreds of miles and pay hundreds of pounds to experience it,” he said.
“Our bands not only sound like the real thing, but also give such a good performance that you may as well be watching the real band themselves – the only difference with our festival is that the beer prices stay the same!”
Gainsborough Fake Festival will be at Roses Playing Field on Saturday 30th July. Family tickets are £50 while child tickets are £12.50 and £17 for adults. Tickets are available from www.fakefestivals.co.uk as well as by visiting The Gainsborough Standard offices.
