A FAMOUS folk band are coming to Gainsborough to show music lovers just why they’re known as one of the UK’s finest.

The Tannahill Weavers are said to be Scotland’s premiere traditional band.

With their repertoire spanning with centuries with their fire-driven instrumentals, topical songs and original ballads and lullabies, their music demonstrates the rich and varied musical heritage of the Celtic people to young and old alike.

These five versatile musicians have received international success and accolades consistently over the years for their exuberant and lively performances and outstanding recording efforts that leave their fans dumbfounded and begging for more.
