Comedian Lloyd Griffith with perform an Edinburgh Festival warm-up show at The Baths Hall in Scunthorpe this summer.

The Grimsby Town fan – who recently presented a football show on Sky Sports alongside superstar player Lionel Messi at Barcelona’s Nou Camp stadium - will perform his new show, Is A Keeper, at the Baths Hall on July 21.

It has been quite a year the man who is a comedian, choir boy and an aspiring goalkeeper.

He’s travelled the world in the name of football and talked strategy with the greatest player on the planet.

He’s also fallen for a six-foot blonde (not Peter Schmeichel) and has turned vegetarian.

As well as jokes, singing, less flirting (probably), he has also been seen on Star of FIFA: Quest for the Best (Sky Sports 1),Soccer AM (Sky 1), Sweat The Small Stuff (BBC3) and Rugby’s Funniest Moments (Sky 1).

Lloyd will also be bringing along a very special guest who will also be performing a preview of their upcoming Edinburgh show.

The event will take place in the Baths Hall’s downstairs lounge, so tickets are limited.

Tickets are priced £8 (booking fee may apply) and are on sale now from the box office on 0844 8542776 or online at www.bathshall.co.uk
