Get set for a bit of Dolly in 9 to 5 at the Plowright
Scunthorpe Musical Theatre Society are back at the Plowright Theatre in the town next month to present the Dolly Parton musical 9 to 5.
Based on the film of the same name, this fast-moving show is set in 1979 and tells the story of three female co-workers who concoct a plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical, bigot of a boss.
They live out their fantasies of giving him the boot, and take control of the company that has kept them down.
The score features hit songs written by Dolly Parton.
The show is at the Plowright from Tuesday, March 7 until Saturday, March 11.
