Legendary singer, performer and actor Donny Osmond has announced exciting plans for his first solo concert tour of the UK in four years to celebrate his 50 years in show business.
And he will be playing Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena next January.
During his career, he has sold more than 100 million records, received 33 Gold records, had three UK number ones and spent 333 weeks in the UK charts, as well as performing to millions of fans across the world.
Donny said: “I am thrilled and delighted to be coming back to the UK.
“The UK audiences have always been very special to me.
“Once the British people welcome and accept you, they really do take you to their hearts and that is what makes performing a real joy when I come to the UK.”
Earlier this year he released his 60th album, The Soundtrack Of My Life, which features songs that are a summary of his extraordinary life so far.
Each track tells a story, tracing the memorable moments of both his professional and personal life.
Taking time off from his award-winning Las Vegas show, Donny will head out across the UK next year with a live band, dancers and multi-media screens to enhance the performance.
Each show promises audiences an in-depth look at what has made Donny Osmond one of pop music’s most successful stars.
His Nottingham show is on January 28 and tickets priced £44.80, £56 and £78.40 are available now on 0843 3733000, on www.motorpointarenanottingham.com or in person from the Arena box office.
