The Queen of Crime’s masterpiece The Mousetrap debuts at the Lyceum from Monday, as part of its first national tour celebrating 60 years on stage.
The star cast features Steven France (EastEnders) as Christopher Wren, Karl Howman (Brush Strokes) as Mr Paravicni, and Bruno Langley (Coronation Street) as Giles. Bob Saul reprises his West End role as Sgt Trotter.
A classic thriller, the scene is set when a group gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover there is a murdered in their midst.
One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until the identity and the motive are finally revealed.
Sheffield-born Ian Watt-Smith returns to direct this new production, having directed the 38th, 41st, 58th and 59th years of the West End show, creating a sharp, witty, and engaging production.
