A TRULY unforgettable day is coming to RAF Waddington next month.
More than 130,000 visitors will enjoy the two day extravaganza of the RAF Waddington International Air Show on Saturday 2nd July and Sunday 3rd July.
The Gainsborough Standard has tickets for each day, worth £130 each, to give to two lucky readers.
RAF Waddington is the Royal Air Force’s home of surveillance and reconnaissance and is situated three miles south of the historic cathedral city of Lincoln.
It is the largest of all RAF air shows and offers a day’s entertainment for all the family.
Enjoy the fabulous seven-hour flying display, packed with aircraft and display teams from around the world.
The display will include the unforgettable Red Arrows, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the Falcons parachute display and many others.
The air show includes an extensive range of ground displays and over 250 trade stalls, craft marquees, a traditional fun fair, classic cars and vintage military vehicles, two exhibition hangars with hands-on exhibits from the RAF as well as the Royal Navy, the Royal Marine Commandos and the Army.
There is even a chance to enjoy the thrill of a helicopter pleasure flight and see a magnificent bird’s eye view of the air show and the local area.
Catering outlets and bars will provide an excellent variety of food and refreshments.
The show aims to raise public awareness and understanding of the RAF and its role today, with all proceeds going to RAF and local charities.

The Gainsborough Standard has a vehicle pass for Saturday and one for Sunday to giveaway.
