Derbyshire County Council is calling all creative youngsters to enter its exciting design competition - and be in with the chance of winning an iPad2.

Derbyshire Youth Council has launched a competition for anyone aged 11 to 19 to come up with an overall name and brand for services the county council provides to young people.

These include careers information and advice, help with personal issues, what’s on and information about b_line – the county’s travel and discount scheme.

Aiknaath Jain, the county council’s youth cabinet chair, said: “This great competition is encouraging the talents of young people – and involving them in their services. The winning youngster’s vision will become a reality in the branding we will use and their success will be a fantastic addition to their CV.”

The closing date in 14th June. Entries can be drawn or created on a computer and must be submitted on A4 with an entry form attached.
