THE CLASSIC story of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales is coming to the county this weekend.
The Pantaloons, a critically acclaimed open-air theatre company bring Chaucer’s pilgrims to life in this brand new adaptation of the medieval classic with a contemporary twist.
Expect music, laughter and tears as a cast of larger-than-life characters tell their tales of deception and redemption, magic and majesty, life and death and talking chickens.
This production is part of the Big Sky Festival that is being organised as part of North Lincolnshire Arts Forum and will be showcasing events throughout North Lincolnshire throughout July. The play will be happening outside so you should bring something to sit on. People are also welcome to bring a picnic.
The Pantaloons present The Canterbury Tales at Normanby Hall Country Park on Sunday 17th July at 5pm. Tickets are £10 and £5 for children. Call 01724 720588 for info.
