PHENOMENAL demand has led to two screenings of the critically-acclaimed Quartet at Trinity Arts Centre to sell-out - but now they’ve announced an extra showing.

Directed by Dustin Hoffman and with an all-star cast of Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon, Billy Connolly and Sheridan Smith, Quartet has wowed audiences around the world.

Like last year’s Best Exotic Marigold Hotel this marvellous, insightful comedy about a retirement home for aged musicians, especially a quartet of elderly opera singers with attitude, is said to be ‘a triumph of nuance and charm’ and ‘a warm and compassionate treat for anyone who likes a good night out at the pictures.’

The new added screening of Quartet will take place at Trinity Arts Centre on Saturday 23rd February at 7.30pm.

In the meantime, film-lovers can head to Trinity Arts Centre for showings of Gambit (Cameron Diaz, Colin Firth) on 1st February, The Life of Pi (Suraj Sharma, Gerard Depardieu) on 8th February and Silver Linings Playbook (Bradley Cooper, De Niro) on 15th February.

All tickets are £4-£5 and are available by calling 01427 676655.
