James Taylor has been hailed as one of the great British instrumentalists of his generation.

The band takes inspiration from the rare-groove style funk of the 60’s and 70’s.

The result has made them one of the most important British jazz-pop crossover acts of the last 25 years.

Their famous signature tune, The Theme from Starsky and Hutch, cemented the band’s reputation as masters of the jazz-funk R&B workout, ranging from 1960s spy themes to psychedelic and free-form jazz
