TRINITY boss Steve Charles said he was delighted with the three points gained on their travels at the weekend against 'tough' opposition.

The Blues triumphed 1-0 away at Worcester City thanks largely to a goal from Liam Needham and a sterling display from on loan Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Russell Saunders who deputised ably for the suspended Adam Sollitt.
Saunders has now been release
d from his loan spell in order to give him a chance of featuring for the Wigan reserve side for the rest of the season.
With Sollitt now available again, Charles felt it was only fair to allow the young 'keeper to return home.
"Russell has been great and was fair to us by driving all this way to play for us. I think we have done the right thing by allowing his to return to Wigan to start staking a claim there," said Charles.
"Now we have Sollitt back we cannot really afford to have two 'keepers on the books either, and Sollitt has been doing very well for us."
Charles was also quick to praise goalscorer Liam Needham, who struck in the 66th minute after a knock down by Simon Bird.
"It was good goal, very well taken by Needham," said Charles. "It helped that we had Bird playing the target man role as he helps to bring the midfielders into goalscoring positions.
"Another notable performer was Danny Sleath who was making his first appearance on loan from Mansfield Town."
Charles said the current crop of Trinity players were giving him great optimism for next season and that he hoped they would go on to great things together.
"If we can keep the nucleus of this side together and add one or two new faces, I think we can finish the season strongly, have a good pre-season and then have a real crack in the league next season."
The forthcoming match at home versus bottom-of-the-table Leigh RMI should not, on paper, cause too much difficulty for Trinity.
"People will be expecting us to pick up a win at home on Saturday," said Charles. "But it's a potential banana skin and we have to recognise that and be ready for it.
"We are also struggling somewhat for numbers as Lewis McMahon and Danny Anson are both suspended and others are injured."
Trinity are waiting on the fitness of Alex Callery, who has a knee injury and Liam Nimmo who is probably out for the remainder of the season with a back injury.
Nicky Ellis and Chris Hall have both gone out on loan.
