Jack Kalson League

Trinity U13s 12, Wrawby Rvrs U13s 0

TRINITY put last week’s cup defeat firmly behind them with a convincing league victory, scoring four times in the first four minutes, three from Jack McMenemy and Thomas Williams with the other.

The next goal came after 20 minutes when a hand ball in the area produced a penalty which was dispatched by captain Jack Weatherell, but the goal of the game came just before half-time when Adam Bush unleashed an unstoppable 25-yard strike into the top corner.

Six more goals were scored in the second half, two more for Williams and one each for McMenemy, Ewan McKay, Sam Trowsdale and Daniel Clark. Sspecial mention must go to Spencer Robson and Ross Brackenbury who set up chance after chance for the Trinity strikers.

This Sunday Trinity travel to Epworth Colts for the quarter-final of the divisional cup.
