A club official who has worked tirelessly for the Worksop Dolphins for 33 years has been honoured, as he takes a break from the club.
Mike Conroy was presented with a trophy and voucher, after deciding to step back from the various roles he has performed.
Club president Alex McLauchlan paid tribute to the stalwart.
He said: “Even though he’s a life member, Mike will be a big loss to the club and we hope to see him back officiating again in the near future.”
Mike’s wife Marilyn was presented with a bouquet of flowers from the club.
