Runner Lorna Allison became the second fastest female Gainsborough Strider of all time, with an impressive 10-mile road race debut.
Allison set a new FV35 category all-time record, registering 1hr 12mins 49secs in the Linolnshire Wolds Hilly 10 mile race, near Rothwell.
Her performance put her second in the athletics club’s all-time list of ladies, and it was the fastest 10-mile time by a female Strider for over 15 years.
Helen Robinson, a 2013 World Championship Cross Country trialist, like Allison, smashed almost three minutes off her previous best time to record 1 hour 15 mins 6 secs in the 10-mile race.
Robinson also moved into second place on the Striders FV40 all-time list with this performance.
Craig Ward (V35) came close to his previous best time on the very undulating course, which had punishing hills at 1, 3 and eight miles, and he finished in 1 hour 14 mins 42 secs.
Matt Lyner (V40) made a welcome return to road racing and ran a creditable time of 1 hr 32 mins 57 secs.
During the week, Dan Edwards (U17) led the quartet of Striders competing in the final 5K of the Lincoln Wellington AC 5K Summer Road Race Series.
Edwards ran a very good time of 18 mins 54 secs for his hat-trick of second place finishes in the U17 category, which also sealed the runner-up prize in his age-group for the series.
Martin Edwards (V40) ran another consistent performance in registering a very good time of 20 mins 17 secs.
Dan White, making his debut 5K run for the club, recorded a fine time of 21 mins 29 secs.
Chris Inman ran an excellent personal best of 22 mins 19 secs in the V55 category.
