Lewin pips rival Hindmarsh in Aegir 15-mile time trial

Andy Lewin pipped rival Matt Hindmarsh to victory in last week’s Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club 15-mile time trial.

The duo were separated by only 25 seconds, with the rest of the field finishing in respectable times.

The course was out to Laughton then to Susworth returning alongside the River Trent, finishing on Laughton Lane.

Results: 1st Andy Lewin 34 minutes 46 seconds Viking Velo; 2nd Matt Hindmarsh 35 minutes 11 seconds Dinnington Racing Club; 3rd Tony Keightley 43 minutes 20 seconds Phoenix Cycling Club; 4th Gary Parker 44 minutes 28 seconds Trent Valley Cycling Club; 5th Trevor Halstead 44 minutes 51 seconds Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club; 6th Steve Brown 47 minutes 09 seconds Scunthorpe Road Club; 7th Pete Hanks 47 minutes 56 seconds Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club; 8th Kevin Smart 49 minutes 21 seconds Phoenix Cycling Club; 9th Dave Walker 50 minutes 35 seconds Gainsborough Aegir Cycling Club.
