Have your say

Julain Hesp set two personal best times on the Viking Velo time trial course last week.

The hilly course is becoming a bit of a favourite track for Hesp.

Not only did he win the ninemile event in a new PB of 21:13, he then continued for a second lap to complete the 18 miles in a superb time 42:57, once again setting a new personal best.

Andy Lewin chased him home Julian over nine miles in a creditable 22:44.

The club’s Sally Shaw and Andy Clarke acted as timekeeper.

The club will hold a 10 mile event on Thursday (7th) on Laughton Lane, with the first rider off at 7pm.

This is then followed on Sunday (10th) with a nine mile race from Laughton Lane, down to East Butterwick, with a BBQ afterwards. First rider will set off at 11.30 am.
